His love of the sea from a young age meant he participated in many water activities, training and competing in his two favourite sports ocean swimming and surfing. Representing Brazil twice in the Aquathlon World Championships, Bruno discovered the benefits of Pilates whilst training for this event and his many other competitions.
As a dedicated athlete he saw how it improved his strength and resilience, helping him to recover faster from injuries acquired during some of his intense training periods. Pilates for him was love at first sight and he decided to become a Pilates Instructor after completing his Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy in Brazil in 2010. He is also looking to pursue his Masters of Physio so he can Register as a Physio in New Zealand.
Bruno has been teaching both private and group Pilates since 2011. He has taught clients from all physical backgrounds but mainly focused on herniated disc and knee injuries. Made for all ages Bruno thinks Pilates is one of the most complete forms of exercise and training programs around. He believes every time should be fun and likes to vary his exercises for his clients. He brings his dynamic style to each session providing a unique experience for the client.
Bruno speaks Portuguese, English and some Spanish.
